Colliers Unveils ‘Built to Last’ 2024 ESG Strategy Report

Colliers has released its 2024 Global Sustainability Report, introducing a refreshed sustainability strategy titled ‘Built to Last.’ The report highlights the firm’s significant progress since 2021 and outlines renewed goals to minimize its carbon footprint and aid clients in doing the same. This strategy is structured around three key pillars:

  1. Environmental Sustainability – Advocating decarbonization and climate resilience.

  2. Workplace Experience – Fostering safety, well-being, inclusivity, and belonging.

  3. Ethical Governance & Practices – Emphasizing data privacy, cybersecurity, and transparent operations.

In the Asia Pacific region, including India, Colliers has achieved:

  • A 39.6% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions per square foot from the 2021 baseline

  • WELL Health-Safety Ratings across all regional offices

  • 108% participation in its global volunteering initiative

  • 90% employee engagement, exceeding benchmarks

  • 30% leadership roles (manager+) held by women

The firm also expanded mental wellness support, personalized employee assistance programs (EAPs), and inclusive hiring practices through enhanced referral programs.

Chairman Sankey Prasad emphasized that sustainability is central to Colliers’ mission, reflected in ESG-aligned services, gender diversity, community outreach, and AI-driven innovation. CEO Badal Yagnik reaffirmed the firm’s focus on inclusive leadership, ethical growth, and employee well-being.
