ColorJet Group, India’s largest manufacturer of digital textile printing technologies, has been announced as the Official Technology Partner for Bharat Tex 2026, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable innovation and India’s growing role in global textile manufacturing.
Supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and organised by the consortium of Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), Bharat Tex has become one of the world’s largest integrated textile events, bringing together the entire textile value chain—from fibre and fabrics to apparel, home textiles, machinery and technical textiles—under one platform.
As the Official Technology Partner, ColorJet showcased its advanced large-format digital textile printing technologies designed for home and industrial furnishing applications. The company highlighted its indigenous engineering capabilities and sustainable digital printing solutions that are designed and manufactured in India for global markets.
Bharat Tex has emerged as a key international platform for promoting India’s textile ecosystem by facilitating collaboration among policymakers, global buyers, manufacturers and technology providers while showcasing the country’s advancements in innovation, sustainability and trade.
Commenting on the partnership, Madhu Sudan, Chairman of ColorJet Group, said the event aligns closely with the company’s long-standing commitment to developing world-class digital printing technologies that strengthen the competitiveness of Indian textile manufacturers while supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.
He added that the future of the textile industry will be driven by sustainability, agility and advanced engineering, with technology playing a crucial role in creating value across the textile ecosystem.
One of the major highlights of ColorJet’s participation was the FabJet Pro, described as India’s only indigenous ultra-wide direct-to-fabric digital textile printer developed for the home furnishings industry. Supporting printing widths of up to 3.2 metres, the machine is designed for applications including curtains, upholstery, bedding and home décor while delivering industrial-scale productivity and high-quality print output.
The FabJet Pro represents a significant milestone as it is currently the only printer in its category designed and manufactured in India for international markets.
ColorJet’s continued investment in research and development has enabled the company to build a portfolio of digital textile printing solutions covering pigment, reactive and disperse printing technologies. These technologies help manufacturers respond to shorter product development cycles, growing demand for customised textiles and evolving global sustainability requirements.
Today, ColorJet has installed more than 6,000 machines across over 50 countries, supporting textile manufacturers worldwide with digital printing solutions.
The company’s role as Bharat Tex 2026’s Official Technology Partner reflects its ongoing focus on advancing indigenous innovation, sustainable manufacturing and India’s position as a global hub for digital textile technology.
