Chicago – For her first kitchen and entertaining collection, cookbook, author, private chef, entrepreneur, and food and lifestyle blogger Gaby Dalkin has teamed together with Crate & Barrel. Since the launch of her website, What’s Gaby Cooking, in 2009, Dalkin has become the authority on all things California. The tableware, glasses, kitchen linens, cookware, serveware, and more are all part of the coastal-inspired California collection. From versatile appetizer boards to front-lip oak cutting boards that are easy to use, Dalkin’s handmade and carefree cooking style is evident in their products, which are designed with West Coast sensibility and kitchen staples in mind. The entire collection features neutral earth tones and recycled materials. “This collection has everything I needed in my kitchen but couldn’t find,” Dalkin remarked. Dalkin’s line is designed for “effortless entertaining with fresh ingredients, laid-back vibes, and beautiful essentials,” according to Crate & Barrel. Dalkin, who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, stated that she wanted every dish and utensil to have an earthy aesthetic while also functioning as a lovely serving piece. The glassware in the series is all manufactured from recycled glass in Mexico. Cocoa Rattan napkin ring costs $5.95, while a linen eyelet fringe natural tablecloth is $149.95.
