Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. has launched a new range of 5.9L instant water heaters featuring a 3kW heating element and four-level safety protection. The range is designed to provide faster heating, increased hot water capacity and reliable performance in hard water conditions.
Announced in Hyderabad on 29 October 2026, the new range addresses everyday household requirements, including kitchens and homes with varying water pressure. It also offers features designed for high-rise buildings and areas with hard water.
Designed for Faster Heating and Hard Water Conditions
The new Crompton 5.9L instant water heaters feature anti-scale technology designed to protect the heating element from mineral deposits in hard water conditions of up to 1,000 PPM.
The 3kW heating element enables approximately 40% faster heating, reducing waiting time. Additionally, the 5.9-litre capacity provides around 18% more hot water than the earlier capacity.
The range includes four levels of safety protection through an auto thermostat, thermal cut-out, pressure safety valve and fire safety protection. Its 6.5-bar pressure rating also makes it suitable for high-rise buildings.
Stainless-Steel Tank and Warranty Coverage
The water heaters feature a food-grade stainless-steel tank for durability and long-term performance. Their compact wall-mounted design includes a pristine-finish outer body and LED indicators.
