Cumin Co has entered India’s ₹6,600-crore pressure cooker market. The premium kitchenware brand has introduced a new cooker with patented cooking technology, stainless steel construction and multiple safety features.

The announcement was made in Gurugram on October 16, 2026. With this launch, Cumin Co is expanding its health-focused kitchenware range. The new product aims to make everyday Indian cooking easier and more convenient.

Cumin Co Pressure Cooker Offers Three Cooking Modes

The new cooker features MaestroValve™, the brand’s patented pressure-control technology. It offers three cooking modes through a single dial.

  • Steam: Suitable for vegetables, momos and dhokla.
  • Cook: Designed for everyday dishes such as dal, rice and pulao.
  • Express: Intended for rajma, chole and meat. According to the brand, this mode can reduce cooking time by up to 30%.

The cooker uses tri-ply construction made from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel. This design supports even heat distribution. It is also compatible with all cooktops.

Multiple Safety Features for Everyday Cooking

The pressure cooker has a three-layer pressure-release system. It includes a regulator, safety valve and gasket-release pathway.

In addition, the cooker features vertical steam release and pressure indicators. A lid-lock indicator helps users check the lid position. Its caged valve is designed to reduce the risk of foam and debris blocking the steam pathway.

The product also includes practical features for daily use. Fill markings help users check the minimum and maximum quantities. The removable gasket can be replaced without tools.

Cumin Co offers the cooker in 3.5-litre and 5.5-litre models. Both sizes use a common lid. The product also comes with a five-year warranty.

Cumin Co Plans a Phased Retail Launch

The brand plans to sell the pressure cooker first through its direct-to-consumer website. It will then expand to online marketplaces and offline retail outlets in phases.

However, pricing and purchase details have not yet been announced. The brand will share these details closer to launch.

With this move, Cumin Co is entering a major Indian kitchenware category. Its new product combines cooking modes, stainless steel construction and safety features in one design.
