Non-profit organization Delivering Good has launched an urgent appeal for bedding and essential supplies to support communities affected by the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24.
The 7.2- and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes displaced thousands of people, forcing many families into temporary shelters or open-air living conditions. As relief efforts continue, the organization has identified bedding, bed sheets and blankets among the most urgently needed items.
In addition to bedding products, Delivering Good is mobilizing donations of new clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, hygiene kits, protective equipment such as face masks and gloves, and drinking water to assist affected communities.
The organization is inviting bedding manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and other industry stakeholders to contribute product donations to help meet immediate humanitarian needs. Financial contributions are also being accepted to support relief operations and the distribution of essential supplies.
Delivering Good works with retailers, manufacturers and corporate partners to provide new merchandise to individuals and communities affected by disasters and other crises.
