Tribute to Luigi Martelli
A denim icon, Luigi Martelli, who passed away in January 2025, is being honored at Denim Première Vision. Known for revolutionizing textile finishes, Martelli’s company, Martelli Lavorazioni Tessili, set new standards in the denim industry. His innovations laid the foundation for the modern denim sector, and his pioneering work in indigo finishing has influenced generations.

In partnership with ISKO, the event will feature a dedicated space to celebrate Martelli’s legacy, showcasing rare archival pieces from M.O.D.E., the Museo del Denim, and offering an unprecedented look at his contributions. This tribute serves as a message to entrepreneurs, young designers, and denim industry professionals to continue Martelli’s spirit of innovation.
