In order to present their downce textile solution to the American market, G-CLO Inc. is making its maiden trip to the New York Home Fashions Market.

Using solely natural and bio-based substances, the patented method treats yarns, fabrics, or towels while providing important performance features including moisture management, anti-odor, and anti-microbial properties. Downce also lessens the amount of laundry that is done and the amount of dangerous chemicals or microplastics that are released into the environment.

JJ Jung, CEO of G-CLO Inc., a South Korean company, stated, “We believe that downce can help the broader industry achieve eco-friendly and sustainable business standards that consumers will be proud to support.”

The Ceravida technology, which is USDA-approved as a 100% bio-based product and certified to Oeko-Tex standard 100, is being rebranded under the new name “downce” by the company.

Textile options for carpets, down, polyfills, textiles, towels, and curtains. Improved sleep depth and quality, warmth, cooling, anti-static, perspiration and moisture control, anti-microbial, and anti-odor therapies are all addressed by specialized treatments.
