Duggal Visual Solutions and EFI have announced the first North American installation of the EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus in its 8-colour configuration, marking a significant advancement in digital textile printing technology.
Installed at Duggal’s production facility in New York, the new system combines industrial-scale production capabilities with advanced imaging technology and sustainability-focused features, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and environmentally responsible manufacturing.
Enhancing Print Performance
The EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus has been designed to support high-volume production while helping customers meet increasingly demanding turnaround times without compromising print quality.
Among its key features are:
- Reduced energy consumption for improved operational efficiency.
- Advanced precision imaging with an industry-leading 4-picolitre drop size, delivering sharper image detail.
- An 8-colour printing system, including light magenta and light black, enabling wider colour reproduction, smoother gradients and more accurate colour matching.
The technology is expected to strengthen Duggal’s dye sublimation printing capabilities while supporting a broader range of high-quality textile and visual communication applications.
Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability
Commenting on the installation, Michael Duggal, CEO of Duggal Visual Solutions, said the investment will allow the company to offer customers enhanced dye sublimation printing through a wider colour gamut and higher image resolution while reducing its environmental impact.
Frank Pennisi, CEO of EFI, said the EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus was developed to expand the possibilities of experiential print by combining technological innovation with responsible manufacturing practices.
Supporting Future Growth
The installation represents another step in Duggal Visual Solutions’ strategy to adopt advanced production technologies that improve print quality, operational efficiency and sustainability.
With the addition of the EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus, the company aims to strengthen its leadership in digital textile printing while delivering faster production, superior colour performance and environmentally conscious solutions for the visual communications industry.
