Epson India Opens First Digital Label Press Solution Centre in New Delhi

Epson India has officially launched its first Digital Label Press Solution Centre at Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, on 20th June 2025. This facility is a strategic move to strengthen Epson’s footprint in India’s rapidly expanding label and packaging market.

The Solution Centre serves as a dedicated space for live demonstrations and technical engagement focused on Epson’s flagship SurePress L-6534VW, a UV inkjet digital label press designed for production volumes of up to 1 million linear metres/month. This high-speed press features PrecisionCore® printheads, delivering ultra-clear print resolutions of up to 600×1200 dpi, along with Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) and digital varnish capabilities for selective gloss/matte effects. With features like white ink support, UV pinning, and a drum platen system, it’s ideal for producing vibrant, durable labels for industries such as food & beverage, cosmetics, pharma, and industrial goods.

The centre provides visitors—including label printers, converters, and manufacturers—hands-on experience in real production settings. This enables businesses to test substrates, explore features, and receive consultations to make informed purchasing decisions.

With India’s label and packaging sector growing rapidly, Epson’s move comes at an ideal time. The Solution Centre not only showcases cutting-edge technology but also supports Epson’s broader mission to enable sustainable, cost-effective, and low-waste production with minimal operator intervention.

Epson India executives emphasized the significance of the centre as a hub for customer engagement and innovation, reaffirming India’s importance as a key market in Epson’s global strategy.
