eVent Fabrics Launches Recyclable, Plant-Based Laminate Collection
eVent® Fabrics, a leader in breathable waterproof technologies, has announced a groundbreaking step in sustainability with the launch of its circular laminate collection. Built on the stormST™ and windstormST™ platforms, the collection includes 11 innovative laminate configurations made from plant-based materials that are fully recyclable.

Designed using monomaterial constructions, these fabrics align with circular economy principles by enabling easier mechanical recycling—without compromising performance. Both product lines maintain eVent’s high standards for breathability, durability, and weather resistance.

stormST™ provides waterproof, breathable protection ideal for outdoor and urban gear, while windstormST™ offers windproof, breathable performance suited for dynamic activities. All fabrics are PFAS-free and carry leading sustainability certifications like bluesign®, Oeko-Tex®, and GRS.

eVent’s initiative responds to growing industry demand for circular products and anticipates upcoming EU Ecodesign Regulations. “Circularity starts with design,” said Chad Kelly, President of eVent Fabrics. “These laminates empower brands to create high-performance gear that’s easier to recycle.”

The new collection marks a significant advance in the brand’s long-term commitment to sustainability and technical innovation.
