India Carpet Expo October- 2024

One of Asia’s biggest handmade carpet fairs, India Carpet Expo offers purchasers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to find the greatest handcrafted carpets, rugs, and other floor coverings all under one roof. It is organized every two years with the goal of showcasing to foreign carpet purchasers the cultural legacy of Indian handcrafted carpets and other floor coverings and promoting the weaving abilities of Indian weavers. The first India Carpet Expo took place in 2001, and 45 shows have been scheduled for this series up of March 2023. Twice a year, the Carpet Export Promotion Council hosts this event. The Indian Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Textiles are the sponsors of the event. about each year. 300 exhibitors, mostly from the Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Panipat, Jammu & Kashmir, Jaipur, and Bikaner areas, showcase their exquisite handcrafted carpets. The only target audience for the B-2-B India Carpet Expo is international purchasers. The Carpet Export Promotion Council extends an invitation to global buyers. Approximately 400 buyers registered and attended the most recent show. In accordance with Government of India regulations, CEPC provides customers from designated countries with attractive supplemental packages.
