FESPA has been named ‘Organiser Team of the Year’ at the prestigious Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards, recognising its achievements in delivering global exhibitions, advancing sustainability, and supporting the international print community.
The award acknowledges FESPA’s continued growth across its global events portfolio, including increased visitor attendance, high exhibitor satisfaction, and strong engagement levels. According to the organisation, its exhibitions consistently attract senior decision-makers while delivering commercial value for exhibitors worldwide.
Beyond organising international trade shows, FESPA continues to reinvest in the print industry through its Profit for Purpose programme, under which 100% of event profits are channelled back into the global print community via its worldwide Association network.
The organisation has also expanded its social impact through the FESPA Foundation, launched in 2025. The initiative repurposes surplus printed materials from FESPA exhibitions to create educational resources for schools and communities in need. Since its launch, the Foundation has supported schools in South Africa and Brazil, providing educational materials, funding, and infrastructure improvements that have benefited more than 1,000 students.
Sustainability remains a key focus for the organisation. This year, FESPA achieved ISO 20121:2024 Sustainable Event Management certification, building on its earlier ISO 20121:2012 certification obtained in 2025. The organisation also reported year-on-year reductions in carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions between its 2024 and 2025 exhibitions.
Alongside its exhibitions, FESPA delivers insight-driven conference programmes designed to help businesses adapt to evolving market trends and identify new growth opportunities. Throughout the year, its global Association network also organises educational events and conferences to support local print communities.
Commenting on the achievement, Neil Felton, CEO of FESPA, said the award reflects the dedication and collaborative spirit of the organisation’s global team.
He noted that FESPA’s purpose-led approach is centred on its mission to “Connect, Inspire and Support” the global print community, while also creating positive social impact through initiatives such as the FESPA Foundation.
Felton added that the recognition is the result of the combined efforts of FESPA’s employees, members, exhibitors and industry partners, who continue to contribute to the organisation’s success in delivering world-class events and supporting the global printing industry.
