Gartex Texprocess India 2026 Sees Strong Business Engagement

Gartex Texprocess India 2026, incorporating the Denim Show, concluded on a strong note, bringing together garment and textile manufacturers, technology providers, sourcing professionals, retailers, exporters, buying houses and factory owners for three days of business engagement and technology discovery.

The exhibition attracted 15,079 visitors, generating meaningful buyer-seller interactions, business enquiries and opportunities for technology adoption across India’s garment, textile and denim manufacturing ecosystem. The event highlighted the industry’s growing focus on advanced technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, sustainability and resource-efficient production.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, exhibitors held extensive discussions with industry stakeholders on new projects, production requirements, machinery upgrades and evolving manufacturing needs. The show floor featured technologies designed to reduce production time and material wastage while improving energy and water efficiency and reducing dependence on manual processes.

Several exhibitors also showcased machinery, systems and software incorporating advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. Live demonstrations, product launches, technology presentations and solution-oriented consultations gave visitors an opportunity to assess new equipment and compare technologies based on their specific production requirements.

Strong Participation from Indian and Global Brands

The 2026 edition featured more than 190 exhibitors, including over 40 first-time participants. Companies from India and international markets including China, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Turkey and Hong Kong participated directly or through their distributors.

The wide-ranging participation reflected the increasing depth of technology and innovation available to India’s textile and denim manufacturing industry. Exhibitors expressed optimism about the Indian textile sector, while also identifying workforce development and skilling as important areas for future growth.

The exhibition showcased solutions across garment and apparel machinery, textile processing, automation, digital printing, knitting, denim fabrics, finishing technologies, dyes and chemicals and other related segments.

Exhibitors Highlight Positive Business Response

Exhibitors reported strong engagement with relevant buyers and positive business discussions during the event.

Mukund Agarwal, Director, Baba Textile Machinery India Pvt Ltd, said the company experienced strong footfall despite the rains and received new clientele and converted several leads. The company also showcased new technologies in embroidery and printing and expressed its intention to participate again.

Abhinav Arya, Managing Director, Fabcare (India) Pvt Ltd, highlighted the presence of serious buyers and noted that the exhibition also attracted customers from the laundry and dry-cleaning value chains. Fabcare used the platform for live demonstrations, new product launches and customer presentations.

For first-time participant Silver Samurai Textile Machineries, the exhibition provided an opportunity to introduce three machines designed to produce high-end elastic products. Janak Sutaria, Managing Director, said the company received a strong response and engaged with new prospective clients.

Denim Show Strengthens Industry Engagement

The Denim Show also recorded positive feedback from participating brands, with exhibitors highlighting strong footfall, relevant customers and opportunities to present new collections and product launches.

Minesh Juneja, Head-Sales & Marketing (Domestic), Raymond UCO Denim, said the Delhi edition remains an eagerly anticipated industry platform, providing brands and customers with an opportunity to explore new collections and launches. The company showcased its fashion range and new products and received positive responses from visitors.

Sudeep Mittal, Director, PSK Denim Private Limited, said the company’s participation in the Delhi edition provided valuable exposure and helped it connect with buyers who were interested in understanding its product offerings. He described the exhibition as an effective platform for identifying relevant buyers and strengthening market engagement.

Industry Discussions Focus on AI, Sustainability and Digital Transformation

Business conversations at the exhibition extended beyond the show floor through Gartex Texprocess Talks and Denim Talks. Industry experts, technology innovators and thought leaders discussed the trends and technologies influencing the future of textile, garment and denim manufacturing.

Key areas of discussion included artificial intelligence, sustainability, digital transformation, changing consumer expectations and global competitiveness. The sessions provided industry participants with insights into emerging technologies and changing market dynamics while highlighting opportunities for manufacturers to improve efficiency and remain competitive.

The combination of technology showcases, live demonstrations, buyer meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions reinforced the exhibition’s role as a business and technology platform for the textile and garment industry.

Gartex Texprocess India 2027 to Return to Mumbai

The strong visitor participation and positive exhibitor response reaffirmed Gartex Texprocess India incorporating the Denim Show as an important event in the industry’s business calendar. The exhibition brought together manufacturers, serious buyers, technology providers and suppliers for focused discussions on investment, production requirements and future business opportunities.
