The exhibition serves as a key platform for global buyers, manufacturers, policymakers and industry stakeholders to explore the latest developments in the textile sector while strengthening business partnerships and international collaborations.

With a legacy spanning 99 years, GHCL Textiles has established itself as a supplier of premium-quality yarns and fabrics to domestic and international markets. The company highlighted its focus on quality, innovation and sustainability, supported by modern manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu.

GHCL Textiles operates with an annual production capacity of 47,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) and maintains over 98% capacity utilisation across its manufacturing facilities. The company also noted that 75% of its energy requirements are met through renewable sources, while women constitute nearly 80% of its workforce, reflecting its emphasis on sustainable operations and workforce diversity.

At Bharat Tex 2026, GHCL Textiles is presenting its expanding range of premium yarns, high-end shirting fabrics, and knitted fabric solutions, supported by 40 state-of-the-art knitting machines that enhance the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities.

Commenting on the company’s participation, Marshal Sonavane, CEO, GHCL Textiles Limited, said that Bharat Tex provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and gain insights into emerging industry trends, technologies and market opportunities. He added that the company’s investments in vertical integration, specialised yarns, premium fabrics, renewable energy and operational excellence are expected to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and support long-term growth.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F Vision—Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign, Bharat Tex has emerged as one of India’s largest textile exhibitions. The third edition is expected to attract more than 1.3 lakh trade visitors, feature over 3,500 exhibitors, host more than 7,000 international buyers, and witness the signing of over 20 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering trade, investment, sustainability, technology, market access and institutional collaboration.

GHCL Textiles’ participation reinforces its commitment to expanding its premium textile offerings while strengthening its position in both domestic and international markets through innovation, sustainability and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
