Emerging International Designers to Take Center Stage at WE2025 International Lounge Curated by Niti Gupta

Mumbai, August 2025: The upcoming Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2025 (WE2025), hosted by the IMC Ladies’ Wing, is set to witness a spectacular international showcase curated by luxury fashion curator Niti Gupta. Scheduled for August 10 and 11 at the Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, the International Lounge will present seven rising global designers from diverse fashion geographies including Dubai, France, Portugal, Egypt, Thailand, Croatia, and Serbia.

This initiative marks a milestone for the Indian fashion community, introducing not only international designers but also a new category — ceremonial children’s wear from Portugal-based labels FS Baby and Baby Chick, making their debut in the Indian market.

Curated with Niti’s signature finesse, the lineup features:

  • Victoria Su (Thailand)

  • Taya (Croatia via Serbia Fashion Week)

  • BNS (France)

  • Flat White (Egypt)

  • FS Baby and Baby Chick (Portugal)

  • Glam On You (Dubai)

These designers were handpicked by Niti for their synergy with Indian sensibilities, market potential, and storytelling through design.

“This isn’t just about hosting designers; it’s about selecting those whose voices align with both the Indian and global fashion narrative,” says Niti Gupta, founder of The AFRA World. “We’re creating a strong collaborative space that ensures international talent is introduced to Indian markets while also giving our homegrown designers the recognition they deserve.”

Backed by 20+ years of global experience and known for her showcase platform The AFRA World, Niti is using this opportunity to foster B2C interactions and cross-border partnerships, envisioning India not only as a market but also as a retail base, production resource, and collaborative hub for international labels.

Each designer brings a distinct aesthetic:

  • Victoria Su shares, “The collection celebrates our signature blue-and-white floral prints. For India, we’ve reimagined the saree with our iconic floral motif — draped, breathable, and perfect for summer to early autumn transitions.”

  • Glam On You adds, “We’re excited to present modern silhouettes with unique detailing — from flowing fabrics to bold accents — ideal for fashion-forward Indian audiences.”

  • FS Baby emphasizes sustainability: “Our designs are bright, cozy, and crafted with eco-friendly fabrics, inspired by nature.”

  • Flat White states, “This lounge is a celebration of design diversity. It allows us to connect emotionally and professionally with a new cultural audience.”

  • Taya expresses, “We’re proud to present Slavonian culture not as folklore, but as modern identity. This event is a creative confluence of global voices.”

  • Baby Chick notes, “India values craftsmanship and exclusivity, which are core to our label. We look forward to connecting with a discerning clientele.”

  • BNS highlights market relevance: “Indian audiences have shown great appreciation for our fabric and quality. This event lets us understand their preferences firsthand.”

Beyond aesthetics, the curated collections at WE2025 reflect a shift toward meaningful, cross-cultural design that is both inclusive and commercially viable. From breezy summer styles and brunch looks to couture silhouettes and versatile resort wear, the Lounge will offer something for every style enthusiast — including India’s modern, globally-aware buyers.

Attendees will have an exclusive opportunity to meet Niti Gupta and interact with the designers over the two-day event from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Through this curated fashion-forward showcase, Niti Gupta is redefining how Indian fashion engages with the world — not just as an audience but as an influential part of the global design conversation.
