‘Naam Se Hi Nahi, Kaam Se Bhi Green’ initiative strengthens Greenply’s long-term sustainability commitment
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Greenply Industries Limited announced a new sustainability initiative under its ‘Naam Se Hi Nahi, Kaam Se Bhi Green’ platform, committing to the plantation of one tree for every Greenply plywood sheet supplied. The company said the initiative is designed as a long-term commitment rather than a limited-duration campaign.
The announcement reinforces Greenply’s focus on integrating environmental responsibility into its business operations, with every plywood sheet supplied contributing to tree plantation efforts across India.
Greenply links every plywood sheet to tree plantation
Greenply Industries Limited stated that every plywood sheet supplied for infrastructure development will contribute to the plantation of one tree. The initiative is positioned as an ongoing commitment intended to continue alongside the company’s business operations.
According to the company, homeowners, architects, interior designers, carpenters, dealers, traders and channel partners become participants in environmental restoration by choosing Greenply products, without changing their purchasing behaviour.

- Responsible and certified timber sourcing practices
- Agroforestry programmes aimed at supporting farmer livelihoods and productivity
- Adoption of renewable energy across manufacturing operations
