Germany’s Frankfurt In 2025, Heimtextil is planning a larger production that will include a few firsts.
2,900 exhibitors from 60 countries have already signed up for the worldwide fair for home and contract textiles, which will be held at the Messe Frankfurt site from January 14–17. There were 2,838 exhibitors in the 2024 show.
The Heimtextile Trends showcase, which will be housed in Hall 3.0, will be curated for the first time by Milan-based design platform Alcova. Furthermore, Patricia Urquiola, a global architect and designer, will develop an installation in Hall 12.0 that fuses hospitality and interior design.
The focus for American visitors looking to source finished home textiles, Hall 10, will not be available for use at the expo the following year. Rather of exhibiting in Hall 10, many of the regular Hall 10 exhibitors will do so in Halls 8.0, 9.1, 6.0, and 6.2, which will now be home to the Global Home Excellence product area.
International producers and country pavilions will be on display, including Towellers Limited (Pakistan), Union Fabrics (Pakistan), Gohar Textile Mills (Pakistan), Kanodia Global (India), Mittal International (India), and Atlas Export Enterprises (India).
The Global Home Select area will feature juried home textile manufacturers such as Yunus Textile Mills (Pakistan), Indo Count Industries (India), Gul Ahmed Textile Mills (Pakistan), Bismillah Textiles Private Company (India), and Al-Karam Textile Mills (Pakistan) in Halls 6.1 and 9.0.
Bed, Bath & Living’s higher-end presentations are back in Hall 12.0. Renowned brands and private label suppliers will display luxury bed linens and bathroom textiles, as well as decorative pillows and bedspreads and home accents, here and in Hall 12.1. It will feature returnees like Hermann Biederlack (Germany) and Formesse (Germany) with exhibitors including Beddinghouse (Netherlands), Lameirinho (Portugal), Marzotto Lab (Italy), Veritas (Turkey), Hellatex Textil (Austria), and Klaus Herding (Germany).
Once again, the Smart Bedding area will be in Hall 11.0 and will include cutting-edge sleep systems, pillows, mattresses, duvets, and textile processing equipment. The following companies will be present: Grasim Industries – Aditya Birla (India), Hefel Textil (Austria), John Cotton Europe (Poland), Billerbeck (Switzerland), KBT Bettwaren (Germany), Setex Textil (Germany), Lenzing AG (Austria), OBB (Germany), Standard Fiber (USA) and Traumina (Germany).
The Carpets & Rugs section, which debuted at the 2024 fair earlier this year, will return to twice as many exhibitors and additional hall levels:
- Hall 5.0 will feature hand-woven carpets, designer and unique pieces as well as international country pavilions.
- Hall 5.1 will be dedicated to machine-woven carpets, fibres & yarns and technologies for the carpet industry.
- Hall level 3.0 will house floor mats, clean-off systems, textiles for outdoor and contract furnishings.
Heimtextil will also present what it describes as the world’s largest range of upholstery fabrics from more than 200 exhibitors on three compact levels in Hall 4. The selection includes decorative, upholstery and contract fabrics, artificial and furniture leather along with outdoor fabrics.
