Heimtextil has announced a strategic collaboration with Hospitality Interiors Europe (HINT), further strengthening its position as the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles and textile design. Starting 2027, Hospitality Interiors Europe will be launched as a parallel format alongside Heimtextil, with a clear focus on high-end hospitality and contract interior design.

The new platform is designed to bring together key decision-makers from interior architecture, project development and hospitality design, including professionals from hotels, resorts, wellness and spa facilities, extended-stay properties and care environments. Hospitality Interiors Europe will be hosted in a dedicated exhibition hall, presenting curated product showcases and premium design concepts tailored for luxury hospitality spaces.

Heimtextil contributes its international reach, textile expertise and innovation leadership, while Hospitality Interiors Europe adds a specialised hospitality-driven perspective with refined application scenarios. The collaboration enhances Heimtextil’s overall interior design offering and reflects the growing importance of the hospitality and contract segment as a major growth area for the global textile industry.

The format is organised by Strive Exhibitions, founded by Toby Walters and Sam Murray, known for launching the globally recognised Cruise Ship Interiors Expo. Their involvement brings strong international industry connections and deep sector knowledge to the partnership.

“In hospitality, textiles are drivers of guest experience and market relevance. At Heimtextil, textiles are our core business. We demonstrate their full impact for interior design and hospitality on a global scale. Together with Hospitality Interiors Europe, we expand our reach in contract business and enhance our offer: We create a shared space for innovative, high-end hospitality design – and open up significant opportunities for architects, interior designers and project developers. The partnership strengthens our portfolio of textile contract solutions. We look forward to joining forces and unlock new value for decision-makers across the global contract and textile industry,”
said Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies, Messe Frankfurt.

Hospitality Interiors Europe will also feature a dedicated congress programme, bringing together international experts to explore design trends, material innovation and major hospitality projects. The platform aims to foster networking and collaboration across the contract and hospitality ecosystem in a premium setting.

“Sam and I are truly excited to be launching Hospitality Interiors Europe in Frankfurt in 2027. HINT will become the new global meeting place for the entire hospitality design community, bringing together designers, suppliers, operators, and developers from the hotel, resort, care, wellness, and extended stay markets. Partnering with industry-leading Heimtextil gives both audiences unparalleled access to the latest products. We believe this marks the start of something truly special for the sector – a chance to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of hospitality design together,”
said Toby Walters, CEO, Strive Exhibitions.

The partnership officially begins at Heimtextil 2026, where Hospitality Interiors Europe will make its first appearance with a dedicated lounge area. Heimtextil 2026 will be held from 13–16 January 2026 in Frankfurt am Main.
