High Point, North Carolina — Following Hurricane Helene, which severely damaged portions of western North Carolina, the High Point Market Authority, the show’s organizers, has declared that the autumn exposition, scheduled for October 26–30, will go forward as scheduled.
While there have been major problems in some parts of the state’s mountainous territory, High Point’s businesses, hotels, and infrastructure have not been affected, guaranteeing everyone’s safety and comfort.
The people impacted by Hurricane Helene are our first priority, according to Market Authority President and CEO Tammy Nagem. “We can move forward with the market as planned because High Point has not been damaged,” the statement reads.
Given that many guests choose to drive to High Point, Nagem suggests that they visit the website of the North Carolina Department of Transportation to obtain up-to-date information on any road closures or detours caused by the hurricane.
