“In anticipation of strong consumer demand in the upcoming Diwali and festive seasons, retailers and distributions took high interest in sourcing innovative products, which were available in plenty at this edition of HGH India,” stated Mr. Arun Roongta, Managing Director, HGH India. We as the organizers were quite happy to learn that more than 90% of the exhibitors had achieved outstanding commercial outcomes. Trade buyers also thought that there has been a significant improvement in the design and quality of Indian items, as seen by several exhibitors’ displays. These signs motivated us to travel to Bengaluru, the site of the 16th edition of HGH India, and explore the South. Thus, this December, we will be focusing exclusively on South.

New releases and innovations at the exhibition:

  1. Bed sheets were introduced for the first time at HGH India by Arvind Lifestyle, one of the biggest producers of woven textiles in India and denim fabric worldwide.
  2. Along with other priceless steel gifts, Jindal Lifestyle has made its debut in cookware with their brand Arttd’inox.

3. Kansyam Metalex unveiled a whole dining set in bronze, bringing it full circle and emphasizing how beneficial and healthful bronze is for humans.

4. Through HGH India, Tramontina, a Brazilian company with more than a century of experience producing upscale kitchenware, entered the Indian market.

5. The Orange Tree, one of the biggest furniture exporters from India, with headquarters in Jodhpur, made its debut at HGH India.

6. Some unusual crafts, such carving in limestone, surfaced in the Handicrafts category and were well-liked and appreciated by the guests.

7. To better understand the production and import of these goods in India, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) held a seminar at HGH India on industry standards for BIS-certified water bottles and vacuum norms.

8. Nearly 15% of the brands at HGH India came from the global market, which suggests that the native Indian market is undoubtedly generating a pull factor in the global arena.

Famous people who attended the show:

HGH India was selected by celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani and actress Kajal Aggarwal as the venue for the introduction of their individual brand licencing initiatives. As the brand ambassador for Refresh Mattress, actress Sonali Bendre stopped by the booth to introduce the company’s newest mattress product line. Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi from HGH India graced the occasion for the brand at the Borosil booth. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor attended the expo in addition to Wonderchef as an exhibitor to engage with the trade circle and business community.

For more than ten years, HGH India has been involved in the home improvement industry. It is the only trade event that aims to link Indian and international home product producers and brands with the country’s domestic market. In order to offer retailers, distributors, importers, architects, interior designers, and institutional buyers full sourcing solutions while keeping an eye on emerging design trends, the show unites home textiles, home decor, home furnishings, and housewares under one roof.
