HGH India, one of India’s leading trade platforms for home textiles, décor, furniture, houseware and gifts, has unveiled its Home Fashion Trends Forecast 2026-27 under the theme “PreSense”. The forecast reflects the growing transformation of Indian homes into spaces that showcase personal lifestyle, aesthetics, values and individuality.
As consumers increasingly focus on styling their homes with the same attention given to fashion and personal appearance, the need for trend-driven home products has grown significantly. Through PreSense, HGH India aims to guide product designers, retailers, interior designers, manufacturers and brands in creating future-ready collections aligned with changing consumer preferences and market demand.
The 2026-27 forecast marks the 19th consecutive edition of HGH India’s trend research initiative, developed to support the home and lifestyle industry with insights into colours, materials, patterns and evolving design sensibilities.
The theme “PreSense” is inspired by the idea that as digital lifestyles expand, consumers are seeking more tactile, sensory and emotionally engaging living environments. The forecast identifies four major themes expected to influence Indian homes in the coming season — Manchala Mind, SunWoven, Kala Sangam and Colour Wave. Each concept combines Indian cultural inspiration with contemporary global influences and modern lifestyle aspirations.
The trend forecast has been curated by Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., organisers of HGH India, drawing on extensive expertise in design research, merchandising strategy, consumer behaviour, and international and Indian market trends across fashion, textiles, home and lifestyle sectors.
Commenting on the launch, Arun Roongta, Managing Director, Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., said that trend forecasting serves as a strategic tool for the home and lifestyle industry, helping businesses create relevant and market-ready offerings for Indian consumers.
At HGH India 2026, the Trends Pavilion will showcase the PreSense themes through immersive displays, curated products, visual merchandising concepts and experiential zones, allowing visitors to explore the textures, colours, materials and moods expected to shape Indian homes in the year ahead.
