IKEA U.S. is set to expand its presence in Texas with the opening of a new small-format store in San Marcos this spring. Strategically located at 917 SH-80 N in the San Mar Plaza shopping center, the 35,000-square-foot store is designed to serve customers in both the San Antonio and Austin markets.
This new location will focus on “local living” solutions, offering products and home designs tailored to the everyday needs of the San Marcos community.

- The store will feature 2,500+ products on display and 2,000 items available for immediate purchase, including a selection of Swedish Food Market items.
- Customers will have access to IKEA’s full product range, which can be ordered for home delivery or pick-up.
- The store aims to provide a more convenient shopping experience, reducing the need to travel long distances to visit a traditional IKEA store.
