Ikea has announced plans to open its third retail store in Ohio, expanding its presence in the U.S. market with a new location at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio. The 80,000-square-foot showroom is scheduled to open in spring 2027 and will serve customers across the greater Cleveland region.
The new store is designed to improve accessibility for shoppers in Northern Ohio by offering a broad range of home furnishing products and customer services.
“As we continue growing our presence across the U.S., we’re focused on meeting customers where they are and creating more convenient ways to shop with Ikea,” said Rob Olson, Chief Operating Officer, Ikea U.S. “Westlake represents an exciting opportunity to connect with more people in Northern Ohio and help them create homes that reflect their needs, style and budget.”
The Westlake showroom will feature more than 5,400 products, with approximately 3,250 items available for immediate takeaway. These include home furnishing accessories such as textiles, lighting, decorative accents, and more than 250 furniture products.
Customers purchasing larger items, including sofas, beds, and storage solutions, will be able to place orders in-store or online and choose either in-store pickup or home delivery. Members of the Ikea Family loyalty program will also receive access to discounts, delivery offers, and exclusive pricing.
The store will offer personalized planning services, allowing customers to consult directly with Ikea design specialists for home furnishing and interior planning projects of various sizes.
In support of its sustainability initiatives, the new location will include an As-is section featuring gently used, discontinued, and returned products available at reduced prices, helping extend product life while providing more affordable home furnishing options.
Visitors will also have access to the Swedish Deli, serving a selection of Ikea’s signature food offerings, including meatballs, plant balls, falafel balls, hot dogs, veggie dogs, cinnamon buns, snacks, and takeaway meals.
The Westlake location marks another step in Ikea’s U.S. expansion strategy, aimed at improving convenience while broadening access to its home furnishing range and customer services.
