Iluna Group Unveils AW 2027/28 Lace Innovations and New Creative Themes at Milano Unica

Iluna Group will present its latest creative direction and sustainable lace innovations for the Autumn/Winter 2027/2028 season at the 43rd edition of Milano Unica, taking place from July 7–9, 2026, at Fiera Milano Rho. Exhibiting in Hall 5, Booth D26, the company will introduce new design concepts alongside advanced textile solutions that combine aesthetics with environmental responsibility.

AW 2027/28 Creative Themes Focus on Contemporary Femininity

For the upcoming season, Iluna Group explores evolving interpretations of femininity through three distinct creative themes:

Whispers of Romance

Inspired by the elegance of Versailles and the legacy of Marie Antoinette, this concept reimagines romantic styling with a modern perspective. The collection features soft shades of ivory, blush, pale pink, and pearl to express refined femininity and understated confidence.

Nature’s Embrace

Drawing inspiration from nature, this theme highlights simplicity, authenticity, and effortless elegance. A palette of sage green, sand, grey, petal pink, and deep green reflects tranquil landscapes while emphasizing a connection between fashion and the natural world.

Opulent Soul

This direction presents luxury through rich textures, transparency, and expressive materials. Featuring tones of gold, burgundy, red, peacock blue, and deep green, the collection aims to create an elegant balance between sophistication and emotional expression.

Smart Lace Innovations Combine Performance with Sustainability

Alongside its seasonal concepts, Iluna Group will showcase new lace articles PX052, PX053, and PX054, developed using bio-based and degradable materials.

The fabrics incorporate EVO® by Fulgar bio-based polyamide and ROICA™ V550 degradable stretch fibre by Asahi Kasei, complemented by Lurex and dope-dyed viscose. Designed for applications including lingerie, outerwear, beachwear, shirting, and fashion apparel, the fabrics offer:

  • Soft hand feel
  • Stretch performance
  • Lightweight construction
  • Wrinkle resistance
  • Quick drying
  • Breathability
  • Thermal comfort
  • Natural odour control

EVO® by Fulgar is produced from renewable raw materials including castor oil and industrial corn, while ROICA™ V550 offers enhanced degradability under certified testing standards and holds Cradle to Cradle Material Health Gold Level certification.

Website Refresh Reflects Global Growth Strategy

As part of its ongoing development, Iluna Group has also introduced a redesigned corporate website featuring updated content, improved navigation, and a refreshed visual identity to better represent the company’s expanding international presence and product portfolio.

Sustainability Remains Central to Iluna Group

Iluna Group continues to strengthen its sustainability strategy through its GRS-certified Green Label collection, launched in 2018. The company maintains complete production traceability from polymer to finished lace while monitoring environmental performance through the Higg Index.

According to the company, the increased use of recycled fibres enabled approximately 1 million litres of water savings during 2025, with recycled materials requiring around 40% less water than conventional alternatives.

The latest innovations and seasonal collections will be showcased throughout Milano Unica, highlighting Iluna Group’s continued focus on combining design innovation, material performance, and responsible manufacturing.
