The textile industry organizations’ proactive efforts in planning Bharat Tex 2025 were praised by Union Textiles Secretary Mrs. Neelam Shami Rao. She called it the biggest and most comprehensive textiles event ever and praised the efforts of textile Export Promotion Councils and other industry organizations for their unwavering commitment to uniting the textile value chain under the Bharat Tex banner. She emphasized that Bharat Tex will serve to strengthen India’s appeal as a dependable, environmentally friendly sourcing location and a large-scale textile investment destination. “The whole event is evidence of India’s determination to become a global textile powerhouse,” she continued.
The Secretary was addressing at the Ministry’s Udyog Bhawan headquarters to commemorate the launch of the Bharat Tex 2025 app and website.
Organized by eleven significant textile industry associations and backed by the Ministry of Textiles, Bharat Tex 2025 is expected to be a historic occasion that highlights the breadth, depth, and potential of India’s textile industry. The 2.2 million-square-foot show is anticipated to draw more than 1,20,000 attendees, 6,000 international buyers from 120 countries, and more than 5,000 exhibitors. A vast array of goods will be on display by exhibitors, such as clothing, chemicals and dyes, machinery and equipment, home furnishings, technological textiles, handlooms, and handicrafts.
Nearly 100 international speakers will facilitate discussions during the event’s more than 70 conference sessions, roundtables, and master workshops. The agenda will be dominated by subjects including manufacturing 4.0, investments, sustainability, and upcoming fashion trends.
