Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring Edition 2027 will take place from 10 to 12 March 2027 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. The organisers have introduced a new slogan, “Shape the Movement,” to reflect the fair’s focus on textile innovation, fashion trends, functionality and sustainability.
The event will bring together textile manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and industry professionals from global markets. It will also highlight developments in performance fabrics and sustainable textile solutions.
Intertextile Apparel 2027 Focuses on Sustainability
The fair will continue to feature four key themes: Fashion Forward, Textile Future, Performance Textiles and Sustainability. These themes reflect changing industry requirements and growing interest in functional and environmentally conscious materials.
The organisers will develop the Functional Lab and Econogy Hub further for the 2027 edition. Both areas will showcase solutions related to performance textiles and sustainability.
The Functional Lab will feature The CUBE, a display area covering thermal regulation, moisture management, comfort, sustainability and protection. The Pet Boutique will also return to showcase functional and sustainable fabrics, garments and accessories for the pet apparel market.
Global Textile Industry to Gather in Shanghai
The 2026 Spring Edition attracted more than 3,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions. It also welcomed over 96,000 visitors representing 119 markets.
For 2027, the fair will feature the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum for Spring/Summer 2028. Seminars, panel discussions and product presentations will cover design trends, market strategies, sustainability and textile technologies.
The event will take place alongside Yarn Expo Spring, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Spring Edition, CHIC and PH Value. Together, these exhibitions will bring different parts of the textile and apparel value chain under one roof.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry of CCPIT and the China Textile Information Center.
