Jaipur Rugs, the renowned handmade rug manufacturer, has opened its first retail store in Raipur, marking its debut in Chhattisgarh. This launch is part of the brand’s broader expansion strategy in India’s domestic market, increasing its total store count to 19, including flagship outlets in Milan, Dubai, London, and Singapore.
The Raipur store follows closely on the heels of Jaipur Rugs’ recent opening in Pune, making it the company’s second new outlet in India in 2024.

Established in 1978 with just two looms, Jaipur Rugs has evolved into a global brand. The family-owned business collaborates with 40,000 rural artisans, 85% of whom are women, operating over 7,000 looms and exporting its products to more than 90 countries.
This new retail expansion highlights Jaipur Rugs’ ongoing efforts to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern retail strategies, reinforcing its commitment to empowering artisans and offering timeless designs to customers worldwide.
