Jeanologia will present its new generation of EIM and the COMMON GROUND collection at Kingpins Amsterdam on October 14–15, 2026. The company will highlight environmental impact measurement and new creative possibilities in denim production.

The new EIM expands environmental measurement across yarn, fabric and garment finishing. It aims to connect production data and provide a clearer view of a textile product’s environmental impact.

EIM Connects Environmental Data Across Production

Jeanologia’s updated EIM system includes independent modules for yarn, fabric and garment finishing. EIM+ combines their results to provide a broader assessment of the product.

Using primary production data, EIM measures water and energy consumption, chemical use and worker impact during garment finishing. It classifies environmental performance as low, medium or high impact.

The information is also structured to support tools such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The new generation extends EIM beyond denim to other textile products, from yarn to finished garments.

COMMON GROUND Explores Nature and Technology

Jeanologia will also present COMMON GROUND, a creative collaboration with Sue Barrett. The collection explores nature, camouflage, craftsmanship and technology through patterns, textures, shadows and colour.

The project uses Jeanologia’s laser and G2 Ozone technologies to create garment patterns, contrast, depth and ageing effects. These processes translate natural inspirations into denim designs.

Through the collection, Jeanologia and Barrett explore adaptation, identity and belonging. The collaboration brings together creative design and textile technology to expand possibilities in garment finishing.

At Kingpins Amsterdam, the two presentations will highlight different aspects of textile production: measuring environmental impact across the supply chain and exploring new approaches to denim design.
