The home furnishings supplier will be recognised for operational scale, multi-category diversification and infrastructure supporting future growth.

JLA Home will receive the 2026 Home Excellence Award for a home furnishings supplier demonstrating excellence in operational scale and capacity building at the industry’s market gala in September.

One of two awards being presented to industry supplier companies this year, the honour also recognises JLA Home’s multi-category diversification, infrastructure development and its work in building a broad portfolio of national and private label programmes.

Founded by Edmund Jin as the home textiles division of E&E Co. Ltd., JLA Home has grown into a major supplier to US retailers. The company operates design hubs in the US and Canada, extensive production facilities in China and a global network of 22 offices.

Over the years, JLA Home has expanded its portfolio beyond textiles to include multiple home furnishings categories, supported by its broader operational infrastructure and production capabilities.

The September market cocktail gala, co-presented by the HFPA Foundation and HTT, will present five honours as part of the annual HFPA Foundation scholarship fundraising event. Bruce McKee, Sr. Director for Domestics at Sam’s Club, will receive the 2026 Home Excellence Award for an Individual Merchant.

Earthbound Brands, a licensing and design agency, will be presented with the 2026 “Behind the Seams Award” for its creative brand strategies. Additional honorees will be announced soon.

The gala will take place at the Harvard Club of New York on September 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Ticket availability is limited.

Early Bird tickets for non-HFPA members are priced at $250 and will increase to $275 from September 1. Tickets for HFPA members and Foundation donors are priced at $200.

The two-hour event will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, an introduction to students from scholarship beneficiary institutes and the presentation of the 2026 Home Excellence Awards to five honorees, including retailers and suppliers.

Established in 1996, the HFPA Foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 250 students. The Foundation currently supports students enrolled in surface design or home product marketing courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Thomas Jefferson University.

Fuze is the headline sponsor of the HFPA fundraiser, while Lichtenberg is the Pearl sponsor. Supima is the Platinum sponsor of the Home Excellence Awards, and Cottonworks by Cotton Incorporated is the Gold sponsor.

All ticket proceeds will support the HFPA Foundation’s scholarship fund.
