The Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York is set to open in Greenwich Village on Sept. 15. The annual design event brings together leading designers, artisans, vendors and trade partners.
This year’s show house focuses on bold interiors and detailed craftsmanship. Visitors can expect custom furnishings, natural stone, sculptural forms, luxury textiles and detailed millwork.
Bold Interiors and Detailed Craftsmanship
The rooms feature strong design concepts and layered details. Custom pieces add character to each space. Textiles, stone and furniture also play a key role.
The show house highlights the work behind each finished room. Designers must manage planning, construction limits and installation challenges. Sponsors, vendors, artisans and trade partners also support the project.
The event offers more than an interiors showcase. Its design work also supports a wider community goal.
Design Supports Youth Programs
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House raises funds for The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The organisation supports programs that help young people develop academic and creative skills.
This mission connects interior design with community support. It also gives participating designers and industry partners a chance to contribute through their work.
The show house opens on Sept. 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will remain open through Oct. 13.
Regular hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The show house will also have late hours until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
