The launch, themed “Wear With Nothing To Hold You Back,” highlights a fully integrated system combining LENZING™ FR and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers for the first time.
The portfolio addresses diverse protection needs through three distinct tiers—inherent, hybrid, and FR-finished solutions—enabling manufacturers to tailor fabrics based on specific industrial applications. This structured approach moves beyond the traditional one-size-fits-all model in protective clothing, offering enhanced performance, durability, and wearer comfort.
At the core of the system are LENZING™ FR fibers, known for their inherent flame resistance built directly into the fiber structure. Unlike treated fabrics, this protection remains effective throughout the garment’s lifecycle. Complementing this are TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, which bring sustainability, breathability, and resource efficiency into protective textile applications.
Independent testing has demonstrated that garments made with LENZING™ FR fibers can significantly reduce heat stress. Under controlled conditions, wearers experienced a 29% lower increase in core body temperature compared to conventional flame-resistant cotton, enabling longer sustained physical performance in demanding environments.
