Lenzing Group has launched its new REMOD denim collection in partnership with Japanese denim manufacturer Kaihara Corporation. The collection features three TENCEL™ Lyocell fiber types and explores different textures, fabric structures and blending options for denim applications.
The collection will be showcased at Kingpins Amsterdam on October 14–15, 2026, at Lenzing’s booth 19 in the yellow zone. It includes heavyweight jackets, wide-leg jeans, stretch denim and cotton-free casual shirts.
New Fibers Offer Different Denim Textures
The REMOD collection combines the traditional character of Japanese denim with the softness and comfort of TENCEL™ fibers. It features TENCEL™ Lyocell Standard, TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 and TENCEL™ Lyocell dtex 2.2.
Each fiber offers distinct fabric characteristics. TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 creates a cotton-inspired appearance, while TENCEL™ Lyocell dtex 2.2 provides a linen-like texture and structure. Standard TENCEL™ Lyocell adds softness, fluid drape and colour depth.
The collection also explores different fiber ratios, including fabrics made with and without cotton. These options give brands and designers more flexibility when developing denim products.
TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 Network Expands
Lenzing has also announced the third cohort of TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 mill partners, marking one year since the fiber’s launch at Kingpins Amsterdam in October 2025.
The network has grown from 17 mills across five countries in 2025 to nearly 50 mills across 13 countries in October 2026. The latest cohort includes 11 mills from six countries, with India joining the network for the first time.
Indian partners include LNJ, Signet, Anubha and Bhaskar. Their participation expands the network’s manufacturing base and adds new sourcing options for denim brands.
According to Lenzing, mills can process TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 using existing machinery, process steps and chemicals. This allows participating mills to expand their fiber offerings without additional capital investment.
Focus on Fiber Innovation
The REMOD collection highlights the potential of specialty lyocell fibers in premium denim. Through its collaboration with Kaihara Corporation, Lenzing is exploring how different fiber properties can influence fabric texture, appearance and comfort.
Lenzing will present the collection alongside other fiber products at Kingpins Amsterdam on October 14–15, 2026. The exhibition will provide brands, designers and mills with an opportunity to explore new denim applications and material combinations.
