LNJ Bhilwara Group & Birla Cellulose Collaborate to Develop Graphene-Enhanced Textiles

LNJ Bhilwara Group (RSWM Limited & TACC Limited) has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Birla Cellulose, the cellulosic fibres division of Grasim Industries Ltd, to explore the use of graphene in textiles.

This partnership will focus on integrating graphene’s advanced properties—strength, conductivity, and durability—into viscose fibres, enhancing performance and sustainability in textile manufacturing.

Key Highlights of the Collaboration:

  • TACC Limited will supply graphene derivatives to Birla Cellulose.
  • Birla Cellulose will incorporate graphene into viscose fibre production.
  • RSWM Limited will use these fibres to manufacture advanced textiles.
