Stockholm, June 19, 2025 – Circulose has announced Mango as its first Scaling Partner since restarting operations, marking a significant move toward scaling circular fashion practices across the global industry.

This collaboration is a major advancement in Mango’s sustainability roadmap, underlining its goal to move towards a fully circular fashion model and reduce dependency on virgin resources. As part of the partnership, Mango is committed to integrating CIRCULOSE®, a premium regenerated material made entirely from discarded textiles, into a substantial portion of its man-made cellulosic fiber (MMCF) usage.

CIRCULOSE® allows fashion brands to maintain their design and quality standards while switching to more sustainable alternatives. The material not only reduces environmental impact but also sets a benchmark in next-gen fiber adoption.

Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose, called Mango a “forward-thinking brand” and emphasized the significance of this partnership in advancing circular fashion at an industrial scale. Andrés Fernández, Sustainability and Sourcing Director at Mango, noted the collaboration as a pivotal step towards using low-impact fibers exclusively by 2030, in line with Mango’s broader vision of innovation and environmental responsibility.

This partnership is also aligned with Circulose’s updated commercial strategy, which includes a new licensing-based pricing model designed with Fashion for Good and Canopy. The model simplifies access and adoption of circular materials, transitioning from small capsule launches to mainstream, high-volume integration. Additional services like supply chain management, traceability, and strategic planning are included to support brands in large-scale implementation.

The Circulose-Mango partnership sets a clear precedent for how leading brands can embrace innovation, scale impact, and pave the way for a circular future in fashion.
