GHCL Textiles Names Marshal Rajendrakumar Sonavane as New CEO
New Delhi/Madurai, 15 May 2025 – GHCL Textiles Limited has officially appointed Marshal Rajendrakumar Sonavane as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2025. He succeeds R. Balakrishnan, a respected industry veteran who has been instrumental in the company’s transformation over the past 20+ years.
Marshal initially joined GHCL Limited as Chief Strategy Officer in January 2025 and has now been elevated to lead the textile division. In his new role, he will spearhead GHCL Textiles’ strategic and operational initiatives, with a strong emphasis on innovation and reinforcing market leadership.
An alumnus of BITS Pilani (Mechanical Engineering) and XLRI Jamshedpur (MBA in Finance and Marketing), Marshal brings with him over 14 years of cross-industry experience from reputed firms including Arvind Limited, YCP Auctus, and Accenture.
