Bhupinder Singh is appointed President IMEA

Messe München is strengthening its strategic focus on the Indian,  Middle Eastern and African regions by combining responsibility for this area  into “IMEA” (India, Middle East, Africa). Bhupinder Singh assumed the  pivotal position of President IMEA on January 1, 2025. Since his  appointment in 2016 as the CEO of Messe München India, he has  successfully led the organization to become the second largest international  subsidiary of the esteemed Messe München Group. In addition to his  responsibility for India, Bhupinder Singh also oversees Messe München’s  events in Africa.

Bhupinder Singh will spearhead Messe München’s Middle East market launch with his new regional duties. Simultaneously, he will join the Board of Directors of MMI Asia Singapore, which is Messe München’s umbrella organization for the Middle East, Africa, India, and China.

According to CEOs Stefan Rummel and Reinhard Pfeiffer, “Bhupinder Singh is distinguished by his strategic vision, his profound comprehension of the dynamics of the trade fair industry, and his exceptional leadership”:He will now start our trade shows in the Middle East after having already guided our Indian affiliate to remarkable success. His accomplishments are remarkable: since 2016, Bhupinder Singh has nearly doubled the company’s sales revenue and increased the number of events the company hosts in India from seven to over twenty.

According to Bhupinder Singh, President of IMEA (India, Middle East, Africa) and CEO of Messe München India, “leading the IMEA region is an opportunity to shape the future of trade fairs in some of the world’s most dynamic markets.” “Our goal is to promote transformative growth in India, Africa, and the Middle East by encouraging innovation and creating platforms for significant partnerships.” Bock, Willi
