Corte Madera, Calif. – The opening of RH Raleigh, The Gallery at North Hills, was announced by top 50 retailer RH.

The Corte Madera, California-based retailer’s newest showroom, which is located at 4120 Lassiter Mill Road, features its home furnishings collections in addition to rare art, antiques, and artifacts from across the world, as well as a 60,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant that is enclosed by glass.

“We think that excellent architecture enhances and increases the value of our brand and goods. Gary Friedman, the chairman and CEO of RH, stated, “We either create it or we identify wonderful old architecture and adapt it. “RH Raleigh is a completely original design that was created from the ground up.”

The modern, transparent, multi-story building has a parchment-cream façade and a large number of glass-and-steel French doors that lead to terraces and garden courtyards. The Rooftop Restaurant and the third floor are accessible via a majestic staircase. The restaurant spans from interior to the outside, where patrons can explore the Wine Terrace, and is situated within a year-round, skylit garden retreat beneath an atrium with shimmering chandeliers, heritage olive trees, and a cascading cast-stone fountain.

The rooftop terrace, which was inspired by European classical gardens, has a number of private RH Outdoor sitting areas that are characterized by a tiered arrangement of shade canopies and pleached London plane trees.

Visitors will find RH Interior Design Offices and stunning lifestyle installations of RH Collections by globally recognized designers on level two. In an interactive atelier with two private presentation rooms, cutting-edge technology, design libraries featuring a vast array of textiles, furniture, and lighting finishes, and a RH Rugs gallery showcasing exclusive hand-woven collections, clients can collaborate with professional designers.

On the main level, guests will enter the center hall, which has lofty 14-foot ceilings and natural light coming from a skylight three levels above, after passing through a 25-foot barrier of retractable glass and steel doors. Barrell-vaulted hallways around the perimeter lead to a traditional layout of rooms that combine unique antiques and relics from Friedman’s global travels with the brand’s selection of furnishings, lighting, and décor.
