The John Ritzenthaler Company is interested in discussing novel weaves as well as birds, bees, and flowers.
The company’s main spring/summer 2025 collection, Botanicals, will be a hit at the New York Home Fashions Market. The vibrant exhibition of plants and animals is portrayed against a background of gentle seasonal hues and projected onto a variety of organic structures in the form of tactile weaves and constructions.
According to Elissa Vogt, vice president of sales and marketing, “we’re seeing lots of innovation in the fabrications we are using,” HTT was informed. “Textures and weaves from a wide variety of natural fibers, including jute, maize, cornstalk, paper, and others, are driving the table linens category.” The product is becoming more and more interesting due to the abundance of new materials that are being developed and their natural attributes.
Placemats, runners, kitchen towels, and ornamental bath towels are all made with botanicals. The kitchen textiles are decorated with printed designs of flowers, birds, and insects. Additionally, more subdued styles that emphasize the tactility of the fabrications by relying on tonal color schemes are seen in placemats, runners, and bath towels.
In order to give the range additional depth and value, embroidery is also increasingly common this season across all product categories.
To “complement what we’re introducing in fashion seasonal,” Vogt continued, John Ritzenthaler is bringing a spring/summer palette to solid-color towels and bar mops in its Everyday Basics brand of utility multipacks.
Additionally, customers will get a sneak peek at the company’s Q4 holiday selection.
“Seasonal fashion is important to our everyday business all year round, but core planograms for our basics are also important,” she said. “Having said that, Christmas and Spring/Summer are very important to us since they enable retailers to replace their Q4 merchandise with new items in their assortments for the following year.”
