Kornit Digital Ltd. has appointed Nick Beighton as a strategic advisor to the company and its Board of Directors, reinforcing its focus on accelerating the shift toward on-demand, digital fashion production.

Formerly the CEO of ASOS, Beighton brings a strong demand-side perspective shaped by years of leading one of the world’s most prominent digital fashion platforms. His appointment highlights Kornit’s commitment to strengthening its collaboration with global brands, retailers, and e-commerce players as the industry transitions to more agile and efficient production models.

Kornit also intends to nominate Beighton for election to its Board during the 2026 Annual Shareholder Meeting.

Strengthening On-Demand Production Capabilities

With extensive experience in digital retail and supply chain transformation, Beighton is expected to play a key role in advancing Kornit’s strategy. His expertise in navigating fast-paced fashion environments, improving speed-to-market, and optimizing capital efficiency aligns with the growing demand for inventory-light, demand-driven manufacturing.

During his 12-year tenure at ASOS, Beighton helped scale the company into a global, multi-billion-dollar business, managing rapid growth, complex supply chains, and the evolution toward omnichannel and digital-first operations.

Industry Shift Toward Agile Manufacturing

The fashion industry is increasingly moving away from traditional inventory-heavy models toward on-demand production and fulfillment, driven by the convergence of retail, manufacturing, and digital commerce.

Beighton’s experience offers valuable insights into how brands are adapting to these changes—focusing on flexibility, reduced waste, and faster response to consumer demand. His addition complements Kornit’s leadership and strengthens its positioning as a key enabler of next-generation fashion supply chains.

Looking Ahead

Beighton’s advisory role will begin on April 1, 2026, and he is also expected to participate in upcoming industry engagements, including Kornit’s Konnections 2026 event.

This strategic move underscores Kornit Digital’s vision to lead the transformation of the fashion industry through sustainable, on-demand production technologies.
