Boston — Perigold, a high-end retailer inside the Wayfair group of businesses, revealed plans to open physical stores, with West Palm Beach, Florida, serving as the first confirmed location.
In fall 2025, the Boston-based business will open a location in CityPlace, an outdoor destination for food, shopping, art, and entertainment in West Palm.
According to company officials, the new endeavor represents a critical turning point in the brand’s global strategy to establish physical stores in strategic regions and provide a tangible environment in which customers can explore and engage with products in meaningful ways.
“Perigold is a destination for opulent residences. Particularly before our 2017 launch, consumers had little access to the best in home design. According to Rebecca Ginns, worldwide head of Perigold, “no retailer was offering the breadth of categories, styles, and designer-loved brands that we have, all in one place.” “We are thrilled to broaden the scope of our offering with this expansion by opening physical store locations, where both designers and consumers can witness and feel the exceptional materials and craftsmanship of these incredible products firsthand.”
The almost 30,000 square foot, two-story West Palm Beach property will have an outdoor balcony with views of CityPlace’s main roadway. Elevated ceilings and abundant natural light provide an opulent atmosphere, while generous proportions enable Perigold to exhibit the range of its offerings and provide areas for designers and customers to collaborate.
The CityPlace location in West Palm Beach will expand the luxury home shopping experience by giving customers access to products and brands in a physical space. This will give customers access to the same roster of brands and designer-curated collections that are currently available on the website. Perigold is scheduled to open a number of retail stores in 2025. They will be able to conduct events and collaborate with nearby companies thanks to this expansion, which will enable them to create communities in novel and intimate ways.
Perigold values providing the community with a seamless online to in-store experience. The brand’s physical stores will bring its Brand and Designer Shops to life, much like its web presence. Throughout the store, unique settings will be created by national and local design partners like Julie Neill, Marie Flanigan, Jessica Davis, Helen Bergin, and more.
Products from over 150 companies, such as Century, Vanguard, Oly, House of Rohl, Theodore Alexander, Visual Comfort, Stark Rugs, and Scalamandre, will be available at Perigold’s store.
Interior design specialist and Perigold partner Helen Bergin stated, “Having a tangible retail space to see all of my favorite trade products is crucial to understanding how a piece will work for a client.” “In a location like West Palm Beach, having a store like Perigold that houses all of a designer’s preferred inspiration sources is revolutionary. There are amazing vintage sellers in the region, but there aren’t many retail options. Perigold will change that, which will benefit the industry as a whole as well as this area.
