New dining table by Roberto Lazzeroni joins the permanent collection with marble top and leather-upholstered sculptural bases
Poltrona Frau has introduced Infinitamente 2.0, a new dining table designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, during Milan Design Week 2026. The extra-large table expands the Infinito family and follows the limited-edition Infinito table launched in 2021 and Infinitamente introduced in 2023.
Developed as part of Poltrona Frau’s True Over Time collection, the table combines marble craftsmanship with leather detailing and is designed to accommodate up to twelve people. The design retains the signature marble top while introducing two helicoidal bases upholstered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less leather, bringing the piece into the brand’s permanent collection.
Design Inspired by Infinity and Balance
The table features a staggered double-oval top that references both the infinity symbol and the complementary forms of Yin and Yang. According to the brand, the design reflects themes of harmony, continuity and shared experiences within contemporary living spaces.
Measuring more than three meters in length, Infinitamente 2.0 is intended as a central element within dining environments, emphasizing connection and conviviality.
Evolution of the Infinito Collection
The original Infinito table was launched in 2021 as a numbered limited edition crafted from an exclusive block of Rosso Lepanto marble. In 2023, Roberto Lazzeroni expanded the concept with Infinitamente, produced in a limited series featuring a white Versilia marble top available in two sizes.
The latest version continues this design evolution while becoming a standard offering within Poltrona Frau’s collection.
Materials and Construction
The tabletop is carved from a single marble slab divided into two opposing sections. Each section is reinforced on the underside with a technical mesh designed to improve resistance to bending, impact and breakage. A stainless-steel blade insert completes the joint line between the two marble sections.

Customers can choose from polished, semi-polished or naturally polished marble finishes. The polished version includes a transparent polyester coating for enhanced durability and resistance to liquids, while the semi-polished finish receives an oleo-hydro repellent treatment. The naturally polished finish is achieved through abrasive grinding techniques that highlight the marble’s natural characteristics.
The base consists of two supports made from MDF and birch plywood, assembled with internal beech pins and metal plates. The sculptural legs are upholstered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less leather, using the same technique employed in luxury automotive interiors.
Launch and Availability
Infinitamente 2.0 made its debut on 14 April 2026 during Milan Design Week at the Poltrona Frau flagship store on Via Manzoni 30 in Milan.
The collection will subsequently be available through selected Poltrona Frau stores worldwide and via the company’s e-commerce platforms across key European markets.
