National | 16 June 2025 – The Punjab Government has reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, by extending his tenure as Vice Chairman of the Economic Policy and Planning Board till August 22, 2028. This role holds the rank of a Cabinet Minister, reflecting the state’s trust in his vision and commitment.
The extension, sanctioned by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, comes at a critical phase for the state, which is intensifying efforts in public-private partnerships, industrial development, infrastructure planning, and youth employment generation.
