Signature Global, a prominent real estate firm, has purchased two land parcels in Gurugram with a combined area of approximately 10 acres for the development of residential projects.

The acquisitions were made by a subsidiary of Signature Global, which formalized the purchase through two executed sale deeds. The land parcels are situated in Tehsil Sohna, located in District Gurugram, Haryana, and cover a total area of about 9.96 acres.

According to a recent regulatory filing, the purchased land parcels have a total potential sales area of roughly 0.53 million square feet, or 5.3 lakh sq ft.

Last month, Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal, Chairman of Signature Global, stated that the company plans to invest ₹1,200–1,500 crore in land acquisition during the current fiscal year as part of its broader growth strategy.

In the previous fiscal year, Signature Global had already invested ₹1,070 crore in acquiring 48 acres of land in Gurugram.

“Land is an important raw material for real estate developers. We will be investing around ₹1,200-1,500 crore on the acquisition of land parcels this fiscal,” said Aggarwal.

Signature Global was the fifth largest listed real estate developer in terms of sales bookings in the last fiscal year, having achieved record pre-sales of ₹10,290 crore.

The company, headquartered in Gurugram, is targeting pre-sales of ₹12,500 crore in the current fiscal year, according to its latest guidance.

In addition to land acquisition, Signature Global is intensifying construction efforts across its ongoing residential projects. The company has allocated ₹2,500 crore for construction activities in the 2025-26 fiscal year, up from ₹1,900 crore in the previous year.

To support its business expansion and refinance existing debt, Signature Global recently announced plans to raise ₹875 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures.

Initially focused on affordable housing, Signature Global has shifted its focus towards mid-income, premium, and luxury housing segments in response to the increasing land costs in Gurugram.

The company reported a net profit of ₹101.2 crore in the last fiscal year, a significant rise from ₹16.32 crore in the preceding year. Its total income more than doubled to ₹2,637.99 crore from ₹1,324.55 crore in 2023–24.

Since its inception, Signature Global has delivered 13.5 million square feet of housing projects. The company also maintains a robust project pipeline with 21.6 million square feet of upcoming saleable area and 46.38 million square feet of ongoing projects, scheduled for completion within the next two to three years.
