India’s luxury real estate market is witnessing a growing preference for branded residences as homebuyers increasingly seek properties that combine premium living with globally recognized brands. Beyond homeownership, these developments offer exclusivity, lifestyle appeal, and a prestigious identity that resonates with affluent buyers and non-resident Indians (NRIs).

Traditionally viewed as a symbol of financial security and long-term investment, homeownership in India is evolving into a lifestyle statement. Branded residences are emerging as an extension of this trend, offering buyers professionally managed communities, premium amenities, and internationally recognized design collaborations.

According to industry observations, buyers—particularly in northern India—are increasingly associating global luxury brands with personal success and social status. This shift has fueled demand for residences that provide not only architectural excellence but also the prestige of internationally recognized brand partnerships.

Commenting on the trend, Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman of Signature Global, said the company has maintained a homebuyer-first approach while adapting to changing consumer aspirations.

He noted that the company’s branded residences developed in collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini have received a strong response from buyers seeking thoughtfully designed homes, premium amenities, trusted development standards, and the appeal of an internationally recognized luxury brand.

Aggarwal added that the response reflects growing demand for developments that combine superior design, quality construction, and a distinctive global brand experience.

Branded residences are also attracting significant interest from NRIs looking to invest in Indian real estate. Buyers are increasingly valuing professionally managed properties, high construction standards, and internationally recognized branding, which provide greater confidence in long-term investments.

Although branded residences remain a relatively niche segment in India, they are well established across several global real estate markets. According to a recent Savills report, branded residences across the Asia-Pacific region have increased by 55% over the past five years, supported by strong project pipelines in countries including Vietnam, Thailand, and India.

The report attributes this growth to increasing domestic wealth, rising demand for service-oriented luxury living, and the continued appeal of globally recognized brands.

Looking ahead, industry participants expect branded residences to become an increasingly important segment of India’s premium housing market. Rising disposable incomes, growing NRI investment, limited supply of branded projects, and increasing consumer preference for lifestyle-oriented developments are expected to support sustained demand in the coming years.
