ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei will showcase nine textile developments at PERFORMANCE DAYS Munich 2026, held on October 13–14. The presentation will bring together seven European textile partners and two Japanese specialists under the theme “STRETCH YOUR FUTURE.”
Visitors can find the ROICA™ collection at Booth P10 in Hall A4. The showcase will highlight stretch fabrics designed for performance, comfort, fit and material versatility.
European Textile Expertise
The participating European partners include Borgini Jersey, Brugnoli, Cifra, Penn Solutions, Reda, Sitip and Tiba Tricot.
Their developments cover a range of textile technologies. These include breathable meshes, three-dimensional structures, seamless warp knitting, technical fabrics and wool-based stretch materials.
Several collections use ROICA™ V550, a stretch fibre with partially degradable characteristics under specified conditions. Sitip also presents fabrics using ROICA™ EF, which incorporates pre-consumer waste yarn as part of its raw materials.
Reda will showcase stretch fabrics made with fine Merino wool. The collection combines wool’s natural softness and breathability with enhanced elasticity, comfort and freedom of movement.
Japanese Textile Craftsmanship
ROICA™ will also present textile developments from Imai Kigyojo and Kawada Knitting Group in Nanto City, Toyama, Japan.
Imai Kigyojo will show lightweight warp-knit fabrics with open constructions, surface textures and bonded structures. These designs focus on breathability, moisture management and comfort.
Kawada Knitting Group will present lightweight tricot fabrics for sportswear, swimwear, innerwear and uniforms. The fabrics focus on versatility and ease of movement.
ROICA™ at PERFORMANCE DAYS Munich
The nine partners offer different approaches to stretch textile development. Their fabrics cover performance apparel, sportswear, activewear, cycling, intimate apparel and lifestyle applications.
The ROICA™ showcase connects European textile expertise with Japanese craftsmanship. It also highlights how stretch technology can support new approaches to comfort, performance and fabric design.
