Retailer Target is expanding its lineup of designer collaborations with the launch of an exclusive collection by acclaimed fashion designer Rosie Assoulin, marking her first venture into the home category.
Set to launch on July 25, the Rosie Assoulin x Target collection brings together fashion, lifestyle and home products inspired by the spirit of summer. Known for her bold use of colour, playful silhouettes and contemporary design aesthetic, Assoulin has created a collection that combines accessibility with her signature creative style.
The limited-time collection includes a wide assortment of apparel and accessories, featuring dresses, matching sets, handbags, sandals and fashion accessories. Alongside these offerings, Assoulin introduces her first multi-product home collection, which includes kitchen towels, beach towels designed to double as sarongs, and a tiffin box. Most items in the collection are priced below $50, making the designer collaboration accessible to a broad consumer base.
According to Target, the collection will be available online and at select Target stores across the United States.
To mark the launch, Target’s SoHo store in New York City will host a special shopping event on July 25, featuring an immersive retail experience and complimentary giveaways while supplies last.
Tara Russell, Senior Vice President of Apparel and Accessories at Target, highlighted the designer’s distinctive approach, noting that Rosie Assoulin’s work combines bold silhouettes, expressive colour palettes and a unique design perspective while maintaining everyday wearability.
Rosie Assoulin, a Brooklyn-based designer, introduced her namesake fashion label in 2014 with a focus on resortwear. She gained industry recognition shortly thereafter, receiving the CFDA Emerging Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in 2015. Her designs have been worn by notable personalities including Beyoncé, Rihanna and Karlie Kloss.
Commenting on the collaboration, Assoulin said the partnership was particularly meaningful because she has been a long-time Target customer. She added that the collection was designed to bring the ease and joy of summer into everyday life through versatile pieces that transition seamlessly from the beach to social occasions.
The launch further strengthens Target’s strategy of partnering with influential designers to offer exclusive, trend-driven collections that blend fashion, lifestyle and home categories for modern consumers.
