RSWM Limited, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, concluded its participation at Bharat Tex 2026 by receiving the ‘Data-Driven Sustainability Excellence in Textile Manufacturing’ award at the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards & CITI-Birla Awards 2025-26, recognising the company’s commitment to integrating data-driven sustainability practices across its manufacturing operations.
During the four-day exhibition, RSWM showcased its latest sustainable textile innovations under its master brand concept, SUTRADHAAR – The Thread That Connects Tradition to Tomorrow, highlighting products designed to combine innovation with environmentally responsible manufacturing.
One of the key attractions at the company’s pavilion was Milkweed Fibre, a sustainable natural fibre developed to deliver enhanced comfort and performance. The product received positive responses from both domestic and international buyers for its eco-friendly characteristics and unique value proposition.
RSWM also presented its Protective Wear collection, demonstrating its expanding presence in the technical textiles segment through advanced solutions designed to meet evolving industrial requirements. Together with its sustainable manufacturing practices, these innovations attracted strong interest from industry stakeholders.
The Ministry of Textiles appreciated the company’s SUTRADHAAR concept for showcasing the integration of India’s textile heritage with innovation and sustainability.
Government dignitaries visit RSWM pavilion
The RSWM pavilion welcomed several senior government officials, including Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Textiles; Ms. Arti Kanwar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Ms. Padmini Singla, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Mr. Rohit Kansal, Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development; and Mr. Anil Kumar, Director, Ministry of Textiles.
The delegation interacted with the company’s leadership team and reviewed RSWM’s latest sustainability initiatives and manufacturing practices.
Strengthening sustainability through data-driven monitoring
RSWM has established a comprehensive environmental monitoring framework that includes real-time utility tracking, department-wise water consumption monitoring, process-specific assessments, and continuous evaluation of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs).
The company also conducts regular stack emission and ambient air quality monitoring through NABL-accredited laboratories while using IoT-enabled sensors to strengthen environmental compliance, operational efficiency and resource management.
These initiatives are supported by cross-functional sustainability teams, employee awareness programmes and continuous operational training.

Expanding renewable energy and circular manufacturing
RSWM currently meets 70% of its total energy requirements through renewable sources and plans to further increase the share of green energy. The company has also proposed 2070 as its Net Zero target year, which is currently under operational review.
Its sustainability initiatives include renewable energy integration, biofuel conversion of boilers, water recycling, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects and the recycling of post-consumer PET bottles into textile fibres, supporting circularity across the textile value chain.
Beyond environmental initiatives, RSWM continues to invest in sustainable sourcing, employee engagement and community development programmes focused on healthcare, sanitation, education, vocational training, safe drinking water, food security and livelihood enhancement, while expanding its portfolio of recycled and environmentally responsible textile products.
