Rugs America appoints industry veteran to head home division

New York — Rugs America has selected veteran industry leader Mark Onanian to lead the company’s entry into the furniture retailer market.

Onanian was a vice president of sales at UMA before joining the company, bringing with him decades of experience. He is going to be in charge of overseeing all furniture retailer-facing sales and marketing in his new role as president of the home business.

Onanian will answer directly to President William Staubitzer.

“Mark’s arrival is a testament to the extraordinary; our home division is poised for success where unmatched experience and limitless potential meet,” Staubitzer remarked.
