New fabrics, wallpapers and trims draw inspiration from American art, traditional quilts and patriotic colour palettes
Luxury interior design, fabric and wallcovering company F. Schumacher & Co. (Schumacher) has introduced “Stars and Stripes,” the first of three collections planned to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The collection features fabrics, wallpapers and trims inspired by American artistic traditions, incorporating geometric patterns, hand-crafted details and a red, white and blue colour palette.
According to the company, the designs draw inspiration from sources including Jasper Johns’ iconic flag paintings and traditional American quilt patterns.
